The Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, is a magical place, in beautiful and extraordinary surroundings and lies between the rivers Wye and Severn.

It is a fantastic location for Scouting, with many miles of forest footpath, walks and dedicated cycle routes. It also has great opportunities for adventurous activities ranging from canoeing miles on the Wye, to climbing and abseiling, raft building and high wire courses, plus networks of caves to explore.

Scouting covers the whole of the Forest of Dean, so there is always someone going wherever you are our District Team hosts a number of district events such as: Water Activity Days, Backwoods Challenge, Cooking Competitions, Swimming/5-a-side/Archery competitions, District Badge weekends, and so on.
